At last, summer is in our rearview mirror. Our first fire of the season is crackling on the hearth and, as I inhale fragrant steam from the hot toddie on the table next to me, the crispness of autumn is hanging in the air. And, just in time for fall, Vengeance at the Vineyard, the third book in the Lord and Lady Crosswick Mystery series, has flown through cyber-space to Scotland and appeared in my relentless editor’s inbox for the final proofread. Next stop, Caerus Kourt, the spectacular book designer. How they continue to do such creative covers while keeping the theme of the series is a mystery to me (see what I did there?). Which brings me to my question for you: If you were designing the cover for Vengeance at the Vineyard, keeping in mind the first two book covers, what would you like to see?
